Why Go Green?

Why am I a concerned parent? I just look at The statistics: 1 in 2.3 men and 1 in 2.7 women
will have cancer in their lifetime. Of household cleaning products, bleach is the number one killer of children, however it is found in more households than any other cleaning
product. In a recent study the EPA concluded that our homes are 3 to 5 times more polluted than the outside air. I am a concerned parent because I want do my best to help my daughter to live a long and healthy life. I realize we can’t protect our children from every hazard in this world, but why not do everything we can!
This blog is dedicated to educating consumers and informing parents of toxins found in our environment and how they compromise our health and wellness. Not to long ago I was a very naive consumer happily filling my cabinets with chemicals and locking them up tight to prevent my infant daughter from getting in. I had no idea just how harmful these products were to my family and I. Going green is not just a temporary trend, but rather a much needed change.
